Faith Saves with Michael Barber seeks to encourage and engage those in need through the faith-alone message and love of Jesus Christ. Our faith in Jesus saves us.

What We Believe

God

There is only one true God, existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. —2 Corinthians 13:14

Salvation

Faith alone in Jesus Christ alone guarantees eternal life for anyone who believes in Him for it. The gift of eternal life can never be lost—once saved, always saved.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.”
—John 5:24

Jesus’ death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life. See Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, 5:24, 11:25-26; 1 Timothy 1:16 and many more verses. There are more than 100 ‘faith alone’ verses in Scripture—we will discuss many of them in upcoming articles.

Bible

All 66 books of the Bible were divinely inspired; the original documents were written without error.

All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work. —2 Timothy 3:16-17

Additionally, the New Testament interpretation of the Old Testament is the authoritative way to interpret the Bible.
